E Authorizing and providing for residential treatment programs or group homes
for children, juvenile correctional facilities, nursing facilities, home and
personal care providers, day training and habilitation service providers, board
and lodging facilities, intermediate care facilities for persons with mental
retardation or related conditions and other facilities licensed to provide
residential services to persons with developmental disabilities or designated
employees or agents of the providers or facilities to disclose in writing upon
written request certain information on current or former employees to
prospective employers; authorizing certain additional disclosures with written
authorization of the employee, requiring a copy of the disclosure to the
employee upon request; providing immunity from liability for the providers or
facilities for disclosure of employee information for employment reference check
purposes (ra, ja)
