ARTICLE 2 - CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE
CONSOLIDATION

Requiring the commissioner of human services to use
federal
money to expand child care services; modifying eligibility from the
basic
sliding fee program to child care assistance program for persons in
an
employment plan or during education; modifying the subsidy
restrictions;
requiring the state obligation for the child care assistance
program to be
included in the department of management and budget (MMB)
forecast; specifying
revisor instructions; repealing child care programs
transition year families and
extension families, the basic sliding fee program,
the Minnesota family
investment program (MFIP) child care assistance program,
use of money, financial
eligibility priorities and allocations, and county
contribution maintenance of
effort

CREDIT

Establishing a standard allowed credit; repealing the Minnesota
working family credit inflation adjustment

Increasing the minimum wage and specifying a minimum wage for large
