Allowing public body (political subdivision or local government) governing
bodies to satisfy the official newspaper published notice requirement by
publishing required notices on the designated web site, by newsletter, or by
inclusion in a free publication of general circulation or distribution, allowing
individuals to file written requests for receipt of mailed notices, allowing
public body governing bodies to designate official web sites, prohibiting web
site publication for published notice requirements for municipal boundary
adjustments, local improvements and special assessments, housing, redevelopment,
planning, zoning and charter elections, allowing web site use for posting places
and permitting posting outside public body boundaries; repealing the statutory
or home rule charter city of the fourth class legal newspaper public notice
publication requirement for the metropolitan area and the newspaper published
alternative dissemination of bids and requests provisions
