Relating to families; updating the uniform interstate family support act;
implementing procedures for the processing of international child support cases;
defining and redefining certain terms; designating the department of human
services and county enforcement agencies as the state tribunal and support
enforcement agencies; modifying and clarifying certain provisions relating to
remedies cumulative, and proceedings for application of chapter to resident of
foreign country and foreign support; modifying certain provisions relating to
extended personal jurisdiction, proceedings involving two or more states,
reconciliation of multiple orders, civil provisions of general application,
establishment of support order and procedure to determine parentage, enforcement
of order of another state without registration, certain enforcement and
modification of support order after registration proceedings, parentage
determination and support proceedings, and uniformity of application and
construction; specifying certain renumbering and cross reference change
instructions to the revisor of statutes; repealing the administrative
enforcement of orders provision
