ARTICLE 1 - LICENSING
Modifying provisions
relating to chemical and mental health and human services licensing; requiring
providers licensed to provide opioid addiction chemical dependency treatment
services to provide educational information; establishing methadone treatment
program standards for opioid addiction; providing policies and procedures for
exceeding standards in the administrative rule; defining certain terms;
providing regulations for medication orders, drug testing, criteria for
unsupervised use, restrictions for unsupervised or take-home use, restriction
exceptions, guest dosing, data and reporting, and nonmedication treatment
services documentation; requiring review of the board of pharmacy prescription
monitoring program (PMP); requiring department of human services licensed
providers to develop and maintain certain policies and procedures and to develop
and maintain a quality improvement process and plan; specifying certain
notification requirements to placing authorities for clients enrolled in health
care programs
