1E Relating to gambling; providing for compulsive gambling education, treatment
and assessment; requiring the commissioner of human services in coordination
with the commissioner of corrections to create standards for the assessment and
treatment of compulsive gambling in programs operated by the commissioner of
corrections; requiring the commissioner to standardize reimbursement rates for
compulsive gambling assessments; requiring the commissioner to coordinate a
report on the social and economic costs of gambling, specifying certain issues
to be addressed and the quantification of social and economic impact, requiring
report to the legislature by a certain date; appropriating money to the
commissioner of human services for the purposes of compulsive gambling
education, assessment and treatment and determining the effectiveness of
compulsive gambling treatment
