Establishing a multimodal transportation fund to be used for highway and transit
projects; providing for allocation of a certain percentage of revenue in the
fund to the highway user tax distribution fund and appropriating the remainder
to the commissioner of transportation (DOT) to be used to match available
federal funds for transportation projects and to allocate as grants to local
government units for local highway and transit projects; proposing an amendment
to the Minnesota constitution, article XIV to require the deposit of revenue
from the sales tax on motor vehicles in a multimodal transportation fund for
