Providing for a county jail reentry project to promote public safety, prevent
recidivism and promote successful reintegration of individuals identified as
having mental illness, traumatic brain injury (TBI), chemical dependency, or
being homeless into the community, requiring the commissioners of corrections in
consultation with the commissioner of human services (DHS) to award grants to
county boards for pilot projects, requiring county agency collaboration,
specifying a commissioner of corrections grant application process;
appropriating money to the commissioner of corrections (DOC)
